How much ram does 500 Safari tabs take up on an iMac 5K 27-inch? I‘m a tabby person which means I like to have lots of tabs open, It’s a nightmare for me to have that many tabs open all the time on my 2019 iPad with 3GB of memory. I was thinking of getting 32GB of memory from Amazon when I buy a iMac later, but now I’m thinking of 64GB or 128GB of memory from Amazon.

Some napkin math suggests you’d use something like 100GB of RAM but it depends on the website. Different websites use different amounts of RAM. I’d recommend just not having so much open haha.

In my case it's depression, I keep opening stuff in new tab and can't get to it for such a long time 😫
