Unfortunately after some really stable betas of iOS 18.4 the final release introduced some kind of bug in Safari. Safari drains my battery really quick. I’ve never seen Safari top the list in battery settings before but after 18.4 (Final release) and now 18.4.1 it’s on top every day. Is this drain normal?

My Safari started consuming a lot of power on version 18.3. I started using Google Chrome. So the problem is real with crooked firmware.

Could it be that you're on sites showing a lot of ads? I noticed that Safari battery usage decreased drastically for me since I started using adblockers.

I watch broadcasts on the Twitch website and the Google Chrome browser consumes battery normally, so the problem is in the Safari browser. In firmware 17.7.1 everything was great.
