I'm sure there is a lot of topics around on this, but nothing complicated here... Just basic, speed running Facebook ads manager, basic sales funnel designs, no big graphics stuff at all.. But more than anything, battery life. Seems Chrome just drags battery down. Is Safari going to be less of a battery hog?

In my experience Safari is the better on the battery life. I have Firefox, that I only use to download videos with an extension, and have tried Chrome also. I think the Safari is the best optimized in that regard.

Newest Safari is amazing if you are OK with ads. I'm not so I can't use it, I use Firefox instead and it does use slightly more battery. I briefly used Chrome and it was worst then the other two. YMMV
