So I've had my iPad over a week with no issues till now. All of a sudden Safari will load a page half way then stop. The blue line in the address field goes half way across then stops. I have to hit the X then the refresh circle at least once to get the site to load. It seems to do it on about all sites and equally on WiFi and 3G. Anyone else have this problem? I don't seem to be loosing my wireless connection or anything like that.

Maybe you should do like Steve said and have the people around you turn off their WiFi.

Kidding aside, I haven't run into this problem, but a respiring or reboot might help matters a bit.

That's funny! I connected my iMac directly and it is doing it too. Must be a problem with Insight, my provider.

I have noticed the problem too, but only when I have a Mac rumors window open. It stalls at the halfway mark, but if you are patient, it eventually opens the page. Seriously close the mr window, and then see how it works. I also press the home button, do something else, and when I go back to Safari, the window is open. Anyone have this problem with other browsers and the Mac rumors site ?

Wow! I think you are on to something here. I closed my mr windows and checked a few sites. Bam! Bam! No issues with mr windows closed. Go figure.

I had this issue as well last night. I can confirm that the problem existed on other macs on my network also. It seemed to only be a problem with MR windows, but I was too tired and frustrated to do much investigation. The problem seems to have righted itself over night for me. My guess is that it was a MR problem.
