I have a late 2011 mackbook pro, 16 gb, ssd. I updated to Catalina. All update and patches loaded fine. It then ased to update safai which I did. Now safari acts like it is trying to load but nothing. After a while it pops up a message that safari has crashed. I used MacOS Catalina Patcher to do the upgade. I would use a different browser but I am not sure how it install one. Any help you can give will be appreciater.

Some just fixed theirs, they typed:
Found a installer for Safari 15 from the Apple site. Now it works again

I dont have a browser installed so how do I get it off their website?

unless someone has a better tip, getting a browser from a time machine helped me alot!

safari 15 works fine on my 2011 late MacBook Pro, I used the dosdude patch to install it and upgraded to safari 15 with no issues.

I reinstalled Cataline and did not upgrade Safari to 15, so all is well. Thanks for the input.
