Hi,
I noticed that with Safari, when I go to some of the online news sites, I can't view the videos they offer. I have Windows Media player for OSX, etc and I have Panther too.

Just curious why I can't view these??

Frank

Are you waiting long enough for them to load?

I use the online videos at the BBC News website and you have to wait a while for them to load before they start streaming (RealOne player) even on a broadband network.

Also, have you updated to Windows Media Player 9 Series?

Hmmm, this doesn't sound like a safari problem. I think the problem is something in the safari library causing problems. Look for a strange file in library>safari. I found an odd MS Player Document in there once that was keeping me from seeing more than two images within my browser.

Johnny,
>>have you updated to Windows Media Player 9 Series?<<
I have. Is there a specific one for Panther?? I have WMP 9.0.0.

Another stange happening is when I click on the Printable Page for my online account with my bank, it only redraws the same page. On my Windows box with XP, I do get the printable page. Plus, I was on MSNBC.com looking at the news. On my XP box, when I place the cursor on the main page selections, I get a huge dropdown menu for each section, which I don't get with Safari, or with Microsoft Inernet Explorer for Mac either. No biggie, but just curious.

Do you have the "Block Pop-Up Windows" option on? If the printable version opens in a new window, this could be what's happening. this happens sometimes for me. I just temporarily turn that off, and then put it back on again.

>>Do you have the "Block Pop-Up Windows" option on?<,

Just checked and it is has been unchecked.
