Hi.
Does anyone have experience of Safe Finder malware?
I got it by trying to update Flash with a dodgy link.
I've used Malwarebytes, and it says I'm clean, but still Safe Finder keeps appearing as my default search engine.
I've selected Ecosia as my default, but it keeps on coming back.
I'd love to get rid of it.
Thanks in advance.

My daughter must have done something wrong and most likely downloaded something from some where she shouldn’t have downloaded. Now this is on her browsers. Can anyone help here?

The only download on that support page is for Malwarebytes. That's some good/safe (and free to use) anti-malware software, that is a Good Thing™ (something that you can keep, and run occasionally, and will find other malware that might have "found you". More often than not, when you get one kind of malware, you may have more. Malwarebytes is one tool that can help you remove malware, especially adware -- the most common type that you might acquire on a Mac)
If you don't care to install known-safe software, then don't download it. The other steps will at least help you to remove the rest of that "Safe" Finder malware that you found. Malwarebytes part of that task is just to give you something that you can use occasionally to scan your drive for other forms of malware.
(If there is ANY app that you can trust for download on the internet, Malwarebytes (at least downloaded for Malwarebytes web site) is one of those you can trust.
