Working on a Chrome problem on iPad Pro. Helper says to boot in safe mode.

1. Does iPad Pro have safe Mode?
2. How do I enter it?
3. How can I tell if I am in safe mode?

Yes. Found instructions. But they seem to indicate iPad will go into recovery mode. I don't want to restore the device.

Google support is asking me to put iPad into safe mode to test a Chrome option that is not working.
