Ok so a few weeks ago i was on my phone and it started to be a little bit laggy so i thought i would try and free up some memory done this by turning off SSH that was fine and it worked so i opened palringo and it froze, my iphone rebooted and went into springboard with a message about being in safe mode i had no idea what was going on but a reboot cleared it :D
Basically has anyone has this problem before and if so do you know the full cause of it and why it does it?
Thanks

Safe Mode is a fall back safe state of the MobileSubstrate. It was designed so that if you had an error you could use the device and get back into Cydia and remove the offending software.

If it only happens once then it is not really anything to worry about but if it happens lots then it is something you want to look in to. A reboot does clear it.

 so its part of cydia then. i thought it was part of the actual offical os, its only happened once which is good :) thanks for the quick reply
