Safe to buy 27" i7 iMac?

Just wanted some quick feedback whether or not it was safe to get a 27" i7 iMac today. I finally got the funds saved and would like to get a new machine for the home, but am worried about WWDC or upcoming updates. If you have any thoughts on this please let me know.

Apple probably won't be updating the iMac at WWDC.

Safe or not, at this point you should just wait until the refresh comes out. Shouldn't be more than late-July or early Sept, the latest. It can only be better spec-wise and/or defect-wise, like noisy yellow screens or hard drives being eradicated.

Thats probably true. I should wait it out until they fix up the issues with the current 27"
