I accidently copied my hard drive or something, but when I get info on the second one, it says it's an alias... Is it safe to delete the alias?

in a word ... yes :)

It's like a shortcut in the windows world. it just leads to the original files.

And if for some reason its not an alias and it is a bad thing, you can always get it back out of the trash asap.

_EDIT_ damn, someone got here first...

Thanks :D

I have this irrepressible need to keep my desktop tidy (right now I have my hard drive, my external hard drive, and my iDisk on it. I'd really like to unmount the iDisk...)

Anyone know how to do that?
