Safe to install Mavericks 10.9???

Hi all,

What's everyone's experiences with Mavericks?

Wondering how the install will go if I attempt to do an upgrade over 10.8 on my Sonnet Tempo Pro SSD RAIDed SSDs. Might have to move them on to the backplane to install.

Also running a non-EFI GeForce card. Hoping it still works in Mavericks?

This. Then you can go back to exactly how your computer was before the upgrade if it doesn't work for you.

The other option is to test drive it by creating a separate partition and installing it there.

I have a cloned backup of 10.8 just in case and am currently running 10.9 with no issues.

Has anyone tried it with a non-EFI NVIDIA card yet? I'm hesitant to try. Don't really want to boot up to a black screen.

Well this sucks.

First attempt at install failed about 60% of the way through. It asked me to reboot so I did, and then it restarted the install. It hovered on 46 minutes remaining for about 20 seconds, then jumped to half way and now says 'less than a minute remaining'. It's been like this for about 10 minutes now

For Mavericks I'll install it on a spare HD to test it out though I also have a clone of my master boot drive. And read thru other articles for more feedbacks.
