I want a fast charging solution for my new iphone x, and theres two things id rather avoid with the apple solution:
-price of 75-85$ for cable and brick.
-design and white color doesnt match anything in my workplace. i dont own white tech at all, except my macbook charger i guess.

I have heard good things about the Anker USB-C PD charger which is only $21-25 on amazon. many people on reviews say they use it for the iphone x just fine. But some people on reddit told me if i dont use apple products for charging i might damage my phone? is this true?

now on to the wires. The apple USB C>Lightning cable is like $35?, i see ones on amazon for like $12-$15, should i avoid those?

Even if i get the official cable, but an Anker brick, at least that will still be cheaper

what should i do?

This is the cable i was looking at: https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Me...7259&sr=8-8&keywords=usb+c+to+lightning+cable

this is the brick i was looking at: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Delive...qid=1513197343&sr=1-4&keywords=anker+usb+c+pd

Get a 12W iPad charger. The performance is definitely comparable to the official Apple fast charger.

Although I won’t hesitate to buy Anker products.

I bought and returned a 39W Anker Charger because the 2nd time I used it, it stopped charging my iPhone X at 74%. Since that, I've just stuck with my iPad charger.. That does the job at what the standard SHOULD be
