I'm looking to upgrade the external drive I use to store my :apple:TV content and want to sell my existing drive to help finance the new one.

So my question is this, can I sell it with the movies I've ripped included or would I need to clear the drive before I sell it?

Thanks!

According to federal laws you need to not have those movies on there. I would strongly recomend clearing it off. It only takes one person looking the right way at the right time and you could be facing hundreds of thousands to millions in fines or possibly jail time. Is that worth the couple extra bucks you could make by selling it with them? Could you get away with it? Sure but I wouldnt risk it.
