Does anybody know what could be causing this? I have the same album and everything is named properly in iTunes. However, for some reason, I just cannot get that one song to fit in with the rest of the album. Any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

Have you checked all the info (right click get info) on the song in question? Compare that info to another song from the album 's info. Something is askew. Perhaps an artist, or compilation or even a stray capital letter. Hope that helps.

This happens all the time to me. Select all songs in album in iTunes and right click then Get Info. Put in the Album Name again no matter if its already there. But in this case, it should be blank.

Easy

This could be caused by many things, a couple of which are:

1. If you imported different songs from the same album at different times, some iPods display them as two or three different albums.

2. The artists name, the album artists name, or album title and track number are factors. In case of artist name, check to see if there are any spaces before or after the name. In iTunes, even if you accidentally press the space bar after the name, it counts as a character.

Those are the the main factors. Hope it helps.;)

This. I usually go ahead and just make sure every piece of info, even ones you don't use, are the same, iTunes can be very finicky about stuff like that.

As mentioned before, in iTunes make sure all the album info is identical.

Here's something in particular you might want to try, though. Make sure every song in the album is listed as "Disc 1 of 1" (if appropriate). This usually fixes it good and right for me.

Happens to me more often than I'd like.

Aside from making sure all the disc and total track numbers are the same, you can try to force iTunes to recognize the songs as all part of an album by selecting them all, "Get Info", intentionally misspelling the album en masse, then correcting the album name en masse. Sometimes you have to do this even when it appears the album name is the same but iTunes thinks otherwise.

Oh, and make sure they all have the same album artist.
