Sounds like you’ll just be signing up through whatever carrier you have, so you’d be at the end of the line. But for $250, it may be worth a 5-6 week wait for many people.
Ad makes it sound like you have to activate with the carrier on the spot when purchasing at the store on Nov. 11. The ad says limited quanties/no rainchecks. They could have one or two X's for the first in line to ask for an X and still avoid bait and switch claims.

They have done similar deals two ways before -- you have to activate on the spot based on the models they had remaining in stock -- or the other way they've done it is that you showed up, and based on who got to there first, chose your model from what they had remaining in stock, and and then made an time-and-date appointment for a later time to come back to activate.

Perhaps there will be further details closer to the sale date, because the ad says to see store for details.

Gift card increased from $250 to $300 for any iPhone in stock. Same as Samsung offer now. Activation bill credit still included.
