Hello,
I am looking to possibly get a Mac Mini in the very near future (hopefully by September).

I do light gaming (L4D2, SC2, CS:S, and will hope to play Guild Wars 2).

I also use Photoshop and Illustrator extensively, and also plan to purchase Logic Pro 9 to do some basic home recording.

The type of home recording I do is multi-track audio (using a Lexicon IOnix U82s) and also some midi tracking and sampling.

So, my first question is, will the 2.5 Ghz Mac Mini (seen, for example, here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MacMiniTB25) do those things fine?

Secondly, I have a Samsung 2243BWX monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001254) that I've used on a PC for the last few years. It is still in perfect condition, and I would prefer to not have to purchase a new monitor. I'm not very familiar with Mac Mini's ports and various adapters you can use with it - will I be able to use that monitor with the Mac Mini I've mentioned above?

Finally, based on the needs I mentioned above, is there something that would likely be more recommended for me to look into instead of a Mac Mini? I've thought of a high-end iMac, but that would triple my cost, and I'm not sure I could do that - but would a smaller iMac be better than a Mac Mini?

Thanks!
