I was given an A20e Android phone for work. Had a good play, setup Google services and added my work Exchange info. It's nowhere near as fast and smooth as my iPhone XR, but it's polished very well for a £170 phone and more than good enough if I had to use one personally. Nice screen, good colour and seems robust. Thinking of buying my mum one for her birthday as she has a 2016 J6 as an upgrade.
Some things I like about Android:
- How it manages Work / Personal apps separately
- Multiple biometrics
- Really good virtual assistant
- Dual sim
- Apps like Messenger head pins throughout UI
- Secret folder integration
- Split screen multitasking
- Multiple audio output management
- Choice of app stores
- Ultra wide lens on camera
Some things I don't like:
- Not as smooth
- Not as intuitive
- Samsung / Google versions of everything
- Can't delete Facebook
- Can't not use Google and get updates (I think)
I can't complain too much given the price difference, overall I'm really impressed and tempted for a higher end Samsung to be honest!
