Interesting.

I think it makes sense on every level. Not only do you get the IP, you get branding, a way into automotive audio units and Samsung putting their cash reserves to good use.

Reckon this Note fiasco has spurned them into real action.

This is fantastic and about damn time! Samsung have been doing partnerships with Bang&Olufsen, Wolfson, Yamaha etc... For so long, it was about time they just bought one of these premium audio brands and brought them in-house.

I hope the Note 8 Exynos will have a Harman DAC. I skip S8 as I assume they are much too far in development to change the audio components.
