Samsung Experience 10 and Android 9 Pie

Looks fine so far. It's interesting seeing them stick closer to Google's stock version. Gestures look fine. Actually they make total sense to me, except for maybe swiping up to go back. That seems odd. Still plenty of time for things to change though.

Think it looks great save for the round corners. Agree about the swipe up to go back. I really like the good lock 2018 feature to swipe to go back (customizable on how it works e.g. swipe left, diagonal up, etc).

Hopefully they roll out the Pie update sooner this year with project Treble
 
My guess, skip 9.0 and go with 9.1.

On Essential there is setting for Gestures to change swipe gesture and recent.
