to me this is the best wireless charger on the market. Love how you can stand it up or put it flat

My question is as a iPhone X user will this still be fast charge on the iPhone X? Providing the update 11.2 will bring

Guessing as a MacBook Pro user I could just use my cable that comes with this to charge? As I believe this charger doesn’t come with a cable?

Apple said they'll increase wireless charge to allow 7w, so it won't be as fast as Sammy devices, I don't believe. It'll be better than the crawl now though.

Also, there are plenty of fast wireless chargers on the market. Just look for a charger that puts out up to 10w.

Samsung charger says 9V. That mean this charger won’t do fast?

No, it absolutely will. “Fast” wireless chargers have a ceiling of 9 or 10. It’s fhe phone that determines whether it can take advantage of it or not. Thus a Sammy phone will fast charge on it. An iPhone 8/X will not. At least not until Apple issues a software update.

Yeah I wasn’t sure if my 61w brick to usb C from my MacBook Pro would make it charge faster than the 7w Apple will release via update

I guess though it shouldn’t matter too much as normally if I’m using the wireless charger it will be at night anyway

That’s the only scenario I bother charging my X. Too slow even for a top off otherwise.

Wireless charging is cool but not really a huge value add at this point.

True, I think wireless charging is just a nice feature to have when you go to bed. I always found it a pain with wires late at night. least with the wireless charging pads I can put them on there and not need to worry about finding the cable if I ever pick it up during the night for example.

as when I need a really fast charge the MacBook brick Or the 29w charger is what I will use.
