As we are fast approaching the announcement of the latest Samsung flagship (Note 10).. I guess it is about time we start to discuss the next one.. the Samsung Galaxy S11 (along with all its variants)!

There are already very interesting rumours out there such as the notch-less full screen display?! :)

That would be really nice to finally have the full screen we've dreamed about since before the iPhone was announced. Like the One Plus 7 Pro but from Samsung. I jumped on the S10 because the headphone jack is going away and I use it almost every day, also while charging the phone. Otherwise I would have been interested in waiting for the S11 potentially. I hope 4k phones start coming out next year especially in the larger Plus sizes.

This is one render I've seen of it. I really hope we don't see phones as curved as this. Because no matter what else it features, this much would ruin it for me.

Ah, right - had an Android one for 3 weeks with curved display. It looked sooo awesome but what the heck - holding the phone it made it on own's one. Actions were done that I never wanted... So I still hope to see only to get rid of the sensor bar of iPhone to have a flat display only device without any curves.

IMO, 1440 x 3040 is already more than enough resolution. I'm hoping for a bump in refresh rate. 90hz would be nice.

That too definitely. I'm a bit of a sucker for hi-res and was holding out for 4k for awhile but it just hasn't materialized in the mainstream yet. It's easy to see why... it's pretty overkill. But, it would be amazing on a smartphone of any size.

I’m only interested in whether Samsung is still going to use Blackpink for the S11 or not.

Latest rumours for S11:
- Camera improvements including 5X zoom!
- Adaptable 90Hz display!
- Even faster wired and wireless charging!
- Bigger battery capacities, maybe even the new graphene tech!
- 5G capabilities on standard models!
- Smaller punch-hole front camera or even full screen with under screen camera!

These rumours have peaked my interests..

s11 pro.... Large s11 with s pen and note offerings?
s11+ ....... Standard large S11 with no s pen?
s11 ......... Smaller and watered down s11?

Samsung has unveiled Exynos 990 with support for 120Hz Displays with possible debut with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11!?

I‘m ready to move after a very long time with Mac and iOS. Since the classic and still with my MacBook Late 08 I think it’s time to move on - nothing special left to exclusive iPhone anymore, except of maybe iMessage and watch. Since more and more people are leaving Apple in my circle, iMessage gets less important. I already play often with my Android/Huawei P20, I love using two apps at the same time in spmitscreen - mostly browser, mail, YouTube and messaging. Waiting for the S11 for DEX and integrated 5G chipset for less power consumption.

I am hoping RCS closes the iMessages gap a bit more. I enabled early access to RSC in Google Messages about an hour ago to see how it looks.

I miss the days where the Note was way above the s series. That ended with the note 7 unfortunately. Now days it doesn’t really pay to wait months for the note unless you’re that rare person who “needs” the pen

There is more to the differences than just the s-pen. There is size and more default storage and more ram.

So is it looking like they’ll be an S11 and Note 11 after all? There was a lot of talk earlier in the year Samsung might merge them into one product.

6.9"? Yeah, I'd buy that!

For me, Samsung have everything nailed down, aside from the camera. The S10 & Note 10 range have really good cameras that I like, but they really need to sort out the skin smoothing nonsense. It's like the beauty mode is never truly off. I always sharpen people pics.

I'm not buying into the hype of the bigger sensors & megapixel count like some people. It's what you do with them that counts.

Still, as long as 90/120hz combined with 5G doesn't hurt battery performance, they should have killer phones next year.

2020 will be a big year for phones after a lull the past couple of years. Likely see a big iPhone redesign, a lot of high refresh rates, and if rumors are right a big jump in camera modules. Still, as we’ve seen with Pixels, software processing means more than MPs at this point.

Seriously after the 10th anniversary this phone needs a new name like Samsung sx sp vr vx...

Samsung s11 is just plain boring , time for aggressive names. Or just merge the two big guns Note/ s series and call it Samsung SN
