I'm trying to buy online to pick it up later after work but i guess I'll have to go to one during lunch time.

Looks good and promising, but I am not an early adopter of any smart watch. Looking forward to reviews/feedback.

No Classic version for the S3 at Best Buy, I only see the black one at 299.99

Do they let you mix and match body and band? Prefer silver with dark band and 3G but I think that comes later.

Walked out of Best Buy with the last S2 Sport...had every intention of waiting for the Classic but the Sport actually looked pretty nice.

Initial impressions are good. Love the rotating bezel and how fluid the UI feels. I'm also enjoying the screen size compared to the 360-- it is noticeably smaller. The vibration motor feels more refined compared to the 360 which you could hear from across a meeting room. The S2's vibrate is MUCH quieter and notifications won't wake the screen unless you turn the setting on.

Not very many apps available right now, and not liking S Voice too much (when you have a lot of friends with foreign last names, it's near impossible to get S Voice to find the right contact).

All in all, the S2 can only get better from here. I'm hoping a lot more apps come out, but this is a solid smartwatch from Samsung.

Per Phil's first look over at Android Central, the Classic won't be available until October 18th, I believe.

I was mildly interested in this until LG announced their new smartwatch with android OS and cellular capability. Now the Samsung with crappy Tizen and no cellular capability looks like a big fat waste of money to me.

I had a chance to play with the sport model and it seemed very smooth and fluid as well as pretty good looking. The UI works extremely well with the rotating bezel and the bezel has an extremely satisfying click as you spin it.

My only gripe is the size, I wear a 44mm watch daily and find it to be the perfect size for me. The S2 is noticeably smaller, it's about the size of a men's dress watch and I feel a few extra mm of diameter would make a world of difference for the overall look and usability of the device.

I understand Samsung struck a middle ground in size so as to not favour a specific gender but I feel they would have been better off creating two sizes vs. just the one.

Unless you enjoy a giant watch, you should probably wait on the S2--the LG Urbane is huge. I had the first edition for about a month--I like a big watch and it's pretty damn big, so it's not for everybody. This new one looks every bit as big, if not bigger.

I have a Moto 360, I did check out the S2 and I do like better. I did not buy one though, they only had one left at store's opening out of five as employees scarfed them up.

Yeah, and I think the LTE is a bit thicker due to the sim card. I never liked the LG's because of the very thin wimpy strap, which makes the watch look that much larger. Still, the S2 has Tizen which sucks and has crappy Samsung quality going for it. I had the Gear S for a long time, virtually no useful Tizen apps, no customization, custom watchfaces, etc. I've learned my lesson with Samsung, in many ways they are a worse walled garden than iOS, which is quite ironic.

I played with one today and normally I would agree with you on Tizen, but the watch and bezel dial were very smooth and quick. The UI was very simple to learn. I liked the interface quite a bit. That said, I do agree with you on the apps issue. Without Google, Tizen apps are limited. Customization on the watchface appears limited. I doubt I would buy one, even though I now have a Galaxy Edge+ that could actually link up with the watch at the core.

If Google could steal that rotating bezel! I really, really like that and wish all Android Wear watches had that feature.

Really haven't read reviews but my buttons would be the price, battery life and apps.
