Samsung Good Lock is back!!!

For those of you in the US and South Korea, you can download Good Lock 2018 in the Galaxy Store. I'm in Canada, so I'll wait. This is what I love about Samsung. They're doing things to really give you more control over customization. Love it.

Finally! Good Lock now available in Canada. I love this app. This is like having custom rom features. I highly reccomend this app. Love having custom notifications shade and custom recents menu. Also absolutely love being able to hide content per app in the recants menu. Being able to set individual volumes per app is brilliant. They need to make these stock features in the next Samsung Experience update.

The routine part of this is awesome!!! It automatically turns my WiFi on and off. Opens apple music when it connects to my cars Bluetooth. The list goes on!

Thanks, I'm checking it out. Seems pretty useful though I won't use routines. Nothing there I can't take five seconds to do myself.

At the moment I got 1 thing I use routines for. Personally, I think all Samsung users should use routines for this one reason. Turning off wifi when the signal is weak. I don't know how many times my phone catches a distant wifi signal, and all of a sudden I have a stalled data connection because of the weak wifi signal. And it takes forever to switch to mobile data. So I have 2 routines set up for wifi. One to turn off wifi when the wifi signal is below 45%, and a second routine to turn on wifi automatically when I get home. The second one is just in case I have my wifi off for whatever reason, and forget to turn it on when getting home. Which I've done a few times times.

Actually I did something similar. I set up a time for it to go off about when I go to work. I don't work in a building with WiFi so don't need it on. It turns back on when I get home so I don't have to do anything. So I have it go off at 6am and have it come back on at 4pm.
This works well for me because when I leave it on all the time when I'm at work for some reason when I'm in certain areas it always tries to get me to connect to Xfinity hotspots and I don't know how to get rid of that.

Thats exactly what i'm using it for as well as putting my phone on silent when i get to work automatically.

Yup, just set that one as well, love this app. Sammy should put the functionality of this app in the next Samsung Experience version with the S10/Note 10. Put it under advance settings so it doesn't overwhelm the casual user.

Cool. I didn't even mess with routines yet, but I'm definitely doing so now just for what you mentioned.

One negative today. I created a lockscreen with the music player controls on it and when I used it, it gives off noise like interference or something but when I play music from the app itself it doesn't do that.

Definitely send it in as an error report through the app. I would also send in suggestions to make the app better. Contrary to popular belief, Samsung really seems want to address community feedback. This very app and its constant improvements is an example of that. I also send in suggestions through the app as well.
