I have this exact same model, the 32" M7. Short answer: Yes.

USB-C will carry video signal from your M1 MacBook to the M7 Monitor. 65W power means that the M7's USB-C port will charge your Macbook with 65 Watts. It will not fast charge your MacBook, but it slowly charges my 16" MBP just fine.

One caveat is that the USB-C is finicky at times. Sometimes it will recognize the M1 Macbook and other times it won't. The capability is there, it's just that you'll have to restart the M7 (power it on and off) or Macbook sometimes to get it to recognize the USB-C. It's just not a smooth process but it works.

Did you find that charging via the M7 USB C port drastically decreases the maximum battery capacity?

I got the 43" M7 and the USB C just never worked with my 16" mbp ! Loved the size and picture, but the USB C issue and the dang remote annoyed the hell outta me..
