My samsung 2494 HM has been running on a macbook for 7 years and doing just fine. I recently bought a mac mini and now sometimes the monitor colors are mostly purple. I can get it to clear up by restarting the computer, but is there any other fix? When I restart the computer usually tells me that my monitor is not at 1080x1090 resolution. I'm running mac 10.12.4, and there is not this exact configuration in the system preferences. Thanks, KK

Which Mini do you have?
What kind of connections are available on the back of the monitor?

MAC MINI Model A1347 2.6 GHZ/8GB/1TB
The choices to hook up are HDMI,
DVIIN (HDCP) AND RGB in. It is hooked up to HDMI with an adapter for mac mini.
Gave wrong suggested resolution. Should be 1920x1080
thanks
