Hi All

Can we dedicate this thread specially to report any minor or major faults/problems with Note10 and 10+.
Many important posts regarding this can get lost in the general discussion thread so lets gather them here for easy access.

I have few minor issues with my Note10+(Exynos) which i am sure will be fixed with successive updates.

1) Call quality not crisp clear like my s9+. The person (s) at the other end can hear me clearly but i can not hear them as clear as it should be. Even though volume is at max but it sounds very low and far.

2) Been having bluetooth connection issues with my portable speakers and other gadgets. Still can't connect to my speakers.

3) Picture quality is the best but the shape of the object on both sides of the screen doesn't look right. Its probably got to do with wide angle shots.

Post a screenshot of your object so it's easy to understand :)

Try adapt sound setting and personalized to improve call quality

Having an issue right now where apps (AT&T bloatware) keep reinstalling themselves after I’ve disabled them. Android system has also been a battery drain, not sure if that related to the above problem though. I did a factory reset last night, but the apps are popping up again, anyone else have this problem with the AT&T model? Any solutions?

Weird. I think call quality is better than my note 9.

That's weird too. I have an ATT model and haven't had that issue.

Not sure about Att baltware but if apps start popping up and directing you to the google store its an adware and the problem is fixable

I tried one more time but still s9+ call quality lot clearer and louder :(

It’s not adware, it’s apps that came pre-installed from at&t. I disable them and then they reappear. Apps such as DirectTVNow, Call Protect, and evening the Game of Throwns game. All these are apps that came preinstalled.

That's why i buy direct from Samsung. They are free from bloatware and also come with dual sim. People have same issues here in Australia

Yup, I wish I could’ve kept the unlock unbranded model I originally got from Samsung, but I need WiFi calling and AT&T has that feature blocked from non AT&T branded phones, so I had to get the carrier model.

If you did a factory reset then of course those apps would reappear?

Android system is draining a lot of AT&T phone batteries. It's a topic over on Android Central and has not happened to me yet but my battery is draining kind of fast. I still get a full day.

Stretched is the best word for it. The objects at far side looks stretched.

Open your camera app, click the gear in the top right, navigate to save options, and turn on the third toggle "ultra wide shape correction". That should help you out. Mine is off in the screenshot.

They reappeared AFTER I disabled them (it’s the first thing I do after a factory reset)

There is a big discussion over on android central about this, looks like it’s a bug with the day one update on AT&T phones, lots of other people complaining about this over there.

Few things for me too after a day with the phone.

- The speakers are loud, but the entire phone vibrates (sort of like an iPad Pro) probably due to the thinness and placement of the top speaker.
- Adapt sound crashed the phone when I tried to add a custom profile (haven't tried again).
- USB C dongles and headphones all have a slight wobble, which a 3.5mm doesn't have.

Android Auto, few issues.
- Phone will automatically kick itself back into "light" mode (from dark mode).
- Smart lock won't work. (i had set it to keep it unlocked, but when plugged in it tells me I can add my car to the safe device list... again).
- Android auto has reverted back to the old interface.

Hopefully these AA items will be fixed eventually.

That's all the things so far.

As for faults of the Note 10+?
My only gripe is the fingerprint scanner

Even with N10 i am still using 4 digit pins. Can't be bothered with the scanner.

The good news is all the few minor issues i was experiencing at the start resolved including call quality .

My rating for Note10+ is 10/10 at least so far.
