Heard that sound quality through the ear piece on this not that great... anyone else heard this? I'm thinking of getting it but this is the one thing that may be holding me back.

My last couple Sammy devices have had great sound quality (Skyrocket, S3, Note 2)

Of course, nothing beats a Nokia :D

You question can not be answered until the actual product is released. The Galaxy Note II had exceptional sound quality on both physical speakers and headphones. I would imagine the GS4 to have even better

Well I guess it balances out the other threads were the newbies signed up to do the same with other devices. At least that is some kind of balance in a totally twisted misinformation way lol.....

However I'm more willing to give benefit of doubt on this one simply because the OP asked if anyone could confirm this rather than making a flat out definitive statement which is often the way trolls post.

So lets not jump down the OP's throat too fast, it could be an honest question and therefore deserves respectful answer.

OP : the answer seems to be this is untrue, the few hands on and small reviews out there seem to indicate no issue with phone call quality. We can assume a €700 unsubsidised handset would make good calls :) and I haven't found any empirical evidence to suggest otherwise.

cmon man, someone joins a mac/ios forum to ask about a Samsung phone? hello anyone there lol

this is rediculus to think otherwise.why in gods great earth would a potential gs4 buyer sign up on an apple forum to make a post about the gs4 having call issues?ohh and its funny how not one issue with sound quality has ever been a problem on any galaxy phones.

I heard that the gs4 has sound quality issues? seriously who exactly did you hear this from?ohh that's right you heard lol

The user signed up in February (before You) not today, and this isn't their first post.

Hey all,

ive been a long time reader, hardly post anything, decided to get some help on this.

I have been trying to force myself to keep the Note2 but am having a difficult time.

Firstly let me say, i am not biased towards any device, i want what works best for me !!.

Assumptions about people are often wrong. Attacking someone post haste is likewise wrong.

So lets not make the forums overly hostile please. There is an old saying, "if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything".

Updated!! I was wrong.

Edit..... DOH! Viewing posters statistics took me to the thread but not his actual post and I just assumed first post was theirs and I was mistaken.

that's not the same user as the op in this thread and its funny how you found that thread as that is a first time poster talking about how he ditched his note 2 posting about it on a apple forum
