And this is in the iPad section, why?
Perhaps for all the naysayers that say Apple would never release a larger format iPad. Samsung gets a wiff of a rumor and tried to beat Apple to the punch.
Probably in the same way that Samsung got a wiff of a rumor and tried to beat Apple to the punch and release a 7" tablet.Perhaps for all the naysayers that say Apple would never release a larger format iPad. Samsung gets a wiff of a rumor and tried to beat Apple to the punch.
This is more likely. Microsoft's Surface tablets were a "hot" (relatively speaking) item during the holiday shopping season. Word of mouth is slowly spreading and awareness is growing. Although WindowsRT is still a non-contender, there are full Win8 tablets being produced that are drawing some serious attention. The RT firesales won't resurrect WinRT, but it certainly put Win8 on customers' radar.Either that, or they could be aiming at Windows 8.1. The UI looks a lot like Metro.
