Haven't really seen this discussed and thought it might be interesting to bring up. What do you all think about Samsung's approach to pre-orders this time around - ship them out as they become available even if they arrive before the official launch date vs. Apple's approach to pre-orders - which in some cases involves holding phones in the next town over for several days waiting for launch date.
I know Apple has always held firm to their launch dates, not sure about Samsung in the past. Just wondered what you think these two different approaches might say about these companies, if anything.
I've only ever owned iPhones but I must say I appreciate Samsung's willingness to get their phones out to consumers as they become available vs. making consumers wait for no real reason at all.
