Damn. and I JUST bought a Galaxy Note 3.

I have my upgrade ready for this phone. Bring it on Samsung. The S5 will be my 7th straight Sammy device.

It had better not be as shambolic and embarrassing as the press event for the s4 launch.

I have decided I'll likely not get another Samsung device despite liking the Note 3 as the whole Knox waranty void trigger is just evil.

As nice as I think it will be, it still isn't a phablet with an s pen. So, even though I will watch this, my Note 3 is staying my daily driver.

Nice, it looks definitely like the Galaxy S5 announcement. Not sure if it has any deal-breaking features that would separate itself from other manufacturers, though.

Stick with it, the majority of people who buy a note have done it for the screen size. The S5 won't be as big so the only reason to get it would be for some better specs? Or are you in the minority who got the note purely because it's faster?

I agree….. I am not looking for ANY deal breaking new software from Samsung on this one. I am looking for a phone with better build quality. Hopefully aluminum or another premium metal. I hope they have read all the reviews about TW and tone it down a little.
I am excited though…….

For me…..The N3 was too big. Great phone but too big for my taste. But the S4 is the perfect size for me. So looking for faster..better screen and camera and upgraded build materials such as aluminum.

I am fine with plastic, that is one of the things I like about Samsung phones
