Sand Down Dock to Fit Bumper iPhone 4?

Anyone think it is possible to sand down the iphone 4 dock with a power sander or something so you can fit the bumper in it? I really want the dock but i need the bumper's protection also...

Short answer NO, and I'll tell you why.

The new dock isn't like the previous several models. It is EXTREMELY thin, and little to no additional suface area. It's in fact so thin that almost any shaving would result in the weakening of the structural intergrity.

I did this with the original iPhone dock to make it fit the 3G/3Gs but with this one, its not possible.

hmm, some aftermakret company needs to make a nice apple style dock that fits the bumper.

Use the Apple Universal dock
