Santa Rosa MPB - Boot Camp Questions

1) Who makes the Gigabit ethernet controller? It looks like Marvell?
2) Apple Remote does not work.
3) No video drivers (Can d/l hacked ones).
4) Sound does not work (Driver is loaded, no output).

Does anyone know how to resolve these?

Wait for apple to release a boot camp update...I'm sure it will be soon.

Didn't the Mac Pro have to wait for updates tpo?

Your best (and safest) bet is to wait for the Boot Camp update. It's already in the testing pipeline at Apple, so you shouldn't have to wait long. That update will include the drivers for the new MacBook Pro models.

If you're impatient and don't mind risking screwing up your Windows install somehow, you can get the drivers individually from various sites. There's links scattered in multiple threads on this forum. I know the video drivers for the nVidia 8600M GT are located here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13407 .

I tried the drivers from laptopvide2go from above and they still won't install under XP. Anyone have a driver they've successfully installed?
