SATA port exists but unused in Air?

Looking at my system profiler, while there is nothing attached to it, it does report the presence of a SATA port. Is that correct? Can it ever be used with another internal drive?

I doubt it does, checking the system profiler for my core duo macbook its has under the hardware drop down items such as Fibre Channel, PCI Cards, SAS, PC Cards.. All of which I can't use..

it shows the same thing for RAID but you dont really think there is an unused raid controller in there too?
