"save as" box not appearing when in full screen, firefox

This annoying problem - does anyone know how to fix it?

When I am in firefox and I have the app fullscreen and I clicked to download something, the "save as" dialogue box will not display because I'm in fullscreen. I have to hit the escape key, get out of full screen, and then try again. I would like to have the "save as" dialogue box float on top of the full screen browser. Does that make sense?

126.0.1 although just downloaded an update which hasnt installed yet!
