I'm using Safari 1.3.1. Is it possible to save a page as a web archive for offline browsing?

Not sure about 1.3.1, but in version 2 it is on File menu, Save As...

If not, you can choose print and save it as a PDF for offline viewing.

The save as web archive feature is available in version 2.0.

I am creating a HTML signature for Mail.app and it has to be saved as web archive instead of PDF. :(

Wait a minute! Isn't web archive saved in html format?
No, it's a binary plist in disguise  You can get a less weird format by saving as a "web page, complete" from Firefox (but if what you need really is a Tiger-style webarchive, you're going to need Safari 2.0).

It might be a good idea to back up a little here. Are you working from this tip? That's really for Tiger anyway, I wouldn't count on it working with earlier versions of Mail.

I have just realised that it doesn't work with the earlier version of Mail. Yes, I was following that tip.

Thanks for the link! But offline browsing is not exactly what I intend to do but workaround to insert HTML into Mail.app (version 1.3.1) signature.
