Save icon layout on desktop for multiple screens?

Hey guys,

I'm organizing quite a few projects with folder shortcuts etc. on my desktop. I am also using different sizes of screens at home, at work and on the go, so the icons get all jumbled up the smaller the screen size. I'd love to save the my icon layout per screen somehow, do you know if there's a solution for this?

As far as I know, that won't happen, unless you can manage the same conditions all the screens (resolution, icons size, etc). More, if you add something new on a Desktop on one mac, it will sync and put it in a default location (on screen) on other macs, which, I believe, starts from the top right corner. So, you'll still need to move the icons around on all other macs.
On the contrary, try using Stacks?
