Guys, I want to save a set of picture files sent to me as an Outlook attachment. I click on save all and can't get to my desktop which is where I want to save to. Any ideas
here's a screenshot

you could (in the Finder), open your home folder, select your desktop folder, then, under File, select "Add to Sidebar". the next time you open that save window, you'll see your Desktop folder on the side...and it shoud come up after that.

I can see several ways to save to your Desktop.
Click on your home folder (geoffwalton), and the Desktop folder should appear as one of the listed folders.
Click on Desktop, then click Choose.
Or, click on Users, then browse into your geoffwalton folder, again select Desktop and click Choose.
Either will work.

Or, even easier, cancel that screen. You should be able to just drag-n-drop your attachments out of your email body to your Desktop.

In Finder, pull down the Finder Menu to Preferences. Go to the SideBar tab. Check the box beside Desktop.
