iOS 5 upgrade un-wantingly wiped my iPad. New iTunes deleted my backups. Everything gone. I have Time Machine backups but it just won't restore from it for some reason. It gives errors every time I try to the point where I have given up trying.

Luckily all is not lost. I have the time machine backups and I just found a backup extraction program that works a treat so all my important details and files have been recovered.

Thought I'd share it here for anyone else in the same boat.
