Hello. I don't plan on upgrading to the current 6.1.2 firmware but in the future if I do decide to restore my iPhone and rejailbreak it. Could I save my blobs on 6.1 for 6.1.2? I know apple patched 6.1.3 beta so I'm just looking out for the future. Thanks

Saving your blobs has nothing to do with the current firmware you are on (aside from special cases, but that need not apply to this situation). It only relies on the firmwares Apple is currently signing.

6.1 is no longer being signed, so you cannot save blobs for that firmware (or any firmware below 6.1.2 for that matter).

You may save your blobs for 6.1.2, regardless of being on 6.1.0, as Apple is signing it.

Unless you have an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, you can't downgrade using blobs at the moment, but it's still a wise idea to save them.

Just to be clear if you have iPhone 4S or 5: until a new method is developed by the jailbreak dev community, saving your blobs doesn't mean you will be able to restore that iOS version back to your phone after Apple stops signing. But its still good to save them just in case a method is developed.
