If I am using Safari and pull up a webpage, is there any way to save it for viewing later? I need to save the webpage itself, ie:the screen, not the url.

same as the iPhone i guess. Home button and lock button at the same time?

there are also apps for that - one is free right now - can't remember the name sorry. but it saves entire webpages (text, graphics, etc) for later viewing

Saving a webpage in ipad

Well, I think I have it figured out. Once a page is up in Safari, you just hold your finger on it, or the portion you want to save, and the sizeable blue copy ghost comes out. You can move it over whatever you want to save, then at the top, click on the Copy button. It goes into the first location at the top of the Safari page, the file(double page) icon. When you click on that icon, it takes you to a screen that has saved everything you have copied. You can then open it up and view it. Also, if you want to just save an image, like a photo, that is embedded in a webpage, hold your finger on it, and when the icon comes up, click save and it goes into Iphoto. Open Iphoto to view it.

Click the lock button and the home button at the same time and it will take a screen shot just Ike it does on the iPhone. If you want to save the whole web page you could just bookmark it and set it to save an icon on the home screen as well.
