I'm trying to save my homepage on my Firefox browser on my laptop. When I shut down the computer and then get back on and open firefox, it goes to a google firefox page (kind of like the start up page) not msn.com.
How do I set this??
I have gone into preferences > internet >web and there I have set the default web browser as Firefox and below that for home page I have the msn.com
But it won't save it. So, what am I doing wrong?

This might be a dumb question, but do you run Firefox from the Applications folder or a disk image (i.e. does it appear a white "hard drive" on your desktop called Firefox every time you start Firefox, presumably from a dock icon)?

Not a dumb questions because I was running it off a disk image but then I stuck it into the Applications folder but I haven't tried opening it from the app. folder yet. Right now I'm back on my eMac. The Lombard is running so slooooow. Can't wait for that RAM to get here!
