Saving photos on messenger

I want to save photos sent to me on messenger to my camera roll. Screen reads "Images cannot be saved. Try again." I'm pretty sure I've saved them before. Anyone have a suggestion?

Are you talking about the regular Messages app (used for texting and iMessage) or some other app?

U just press on the photo for sometime . U will c options . One of them is save .
