Saving playlist for offline listening

How do I save a playlist and have it stay for a while. On my Ipad if I download a play list and dont listen to it for a couple days its no longer downloaded and I have to download it again if I want to listen to it offline.

Never had a downloaded Playlist to be removed. Are you about out of storage on your iPad?

I have a 32 gig iPad Pro and I have 6 gig space available
