Saving to network folder

Hi

I have a user who is unable to save documents to a network share, for example photoshop files or something as trivial as saving an image off a website. She can save it locally to her desktop and copy over to the required setting. I wonder is there some kind of security setting that can be changed. she is running OS 10.7.3

Your user's permissions need to be modified to add write access to the share.

What kind of share? How is it mounted?

They connect to their network folders by going GO->Connect to server, then smb://Server name
