I just signed up for a free trial for mobile me, to host my website (because I have no idea how to do it otherwise- I like simplicity!)
So I went to my system preferences, clicked mobile me, and checked the boxs to sync and said sync automatically and then clicked the sync button, and the check boxes next to the icons I checked did their loading swirling thing and at the bottom it said "syncing calendar... syncing contacts... etc" and then I signed onto Mobile me and NOTHING. there is nothing there.
I tried it again and again it says its syncing but nothing shows up on me.com

any ideas what I'm doing wrong


I have mac os x 10.something, I just bought it in July... so it's not that old of an operating system and it's my first mac.

Ok I just tried restarting my computer, installing all updates, and then pressing "sync now" again (made sure the boxes were checked next to what I wanted synced) and still no luck when signing into mobileme....

I've gotten a little further, I was finally able to update to 10.5.6 (that was a project!) and I can sync contacts and such but NO luck with iCal

I simply want my iCal from my macbook to sync to the cloud thing on mobile me- im not looking for it to sync with an iphone or a pc or anthing.

Ive read a lot of problems about people not having it sync from the cloud to iCal or from an iphone to iCal but not a simple macbook --> mobile me.

I've tried unclicking everything else except for the ical and syncing manually, automatically, etc. nothing has worked

any suggestions?
