So I had my 2.2.1 Jailbroken iPhone 3G with SB Settings Installed (The one where you slide the status bar and it has the extra dock and stuff) So I had all my system apps, ie cydia and installer in that extra dock, and hidden from the home screen.

I Upgraded to 3.0, jailbroke it, but the Cydia, Icy, Installer Apps are unseen, I know their in the system somewhere but I do not know how to get the icons back on the main screens. All the other Apps i Had turned off like stocks are missing aswell.

So I was wondering if anyone knew what I had to do to get the shortcuts for these Apps back onto springboard.

If it requires SCP i'll do that if someone knows what file I need to edit.

Appreciate any help anyone gives me.

Thanks

You had Categories installed didn't you?

Go into the restrictions and enable them. Exit out and re enter and disable them. The icon should show up.

oh gosh that happened to me too! i was so scared! but i didn't hide cydia so i was able to download it again... i dont know what you can do about getting sb settings back though.. maybe all you can do is restore and re-jailbreak and start it as a new iphone, don't update from the backup. That's all I can think of.
