Hey there,

quick question: I JB my iphone 3gs last night (from 3.0 to custom 3.1.2) and installed SBSettings thru cydia. While I love the app, it also seems to override my auto-adjust brightness setting by keeping the brightness at a constant level, regardless of the ambient lighting.
anyone else noticed that? any way to remedy?

thanks

Well there is a brightness toggle built into SBSettings so could be.

You could try turning the SBSettings brightness toggle off.

Mine sometimes does that too (always way too bright), I find that if I lock then unlock the ambient light sensor kicks in again.
Double check the light settings in SB Settings and normal settings though, as mine was automatically switched off when I installed SB Settings I think.

same experience here - I gotta lock then unlock the phone in order to get the brightness auto-adjusted. Kinda annoying.

Ive had a brightness lag where my screen will be too dark after I unlock for a few seconds, but eventually it fixes itself.
