Sbsettings shows wrong memory

I was just wondering a couple things for all of you that have the 3GS.

1. For total memory does it show 256? Mine at first showed 259 and now shows 248 while my wife's shows 257. Do I have bad memory or is sbsettings weird?

2. What do you show for available memory with winterboard? I run between 140 and 170 with 150 being the normal average.

Huh, do you use the free memory button? That sounds low compared to me but maybe you are using backgrounder a lot. I am using winterboard with OS X Leopard theme. I also am using this lock screen with status notifier. http://www.xsellize.com/showthread.php?t=58646

I do use backgrounder and when that is used I can hit in the 120s. The total memory for me is above used memory under "storage".
