Just disable the toggle. Having SSH on vs off saves no battery at all. Or, try hitting that refresh button on sbsettings.

It is supposed to be on by default.

Won't hurt the battery, just ignore it.

It's not like the SBSetting pane is open all that much that it can be that much of a real issue ??

It stays off for me until I turn off or restart the phone. I usually have it off as I thought it consumes power, but I'll just leave it on now.

It doesn't effect the battery. The phone launches ssh when it detects someone trying to connect to it. Turning it off only makes the phone ignore ssh requests.

Change your password for mobile and root and replace the ssh toggle with something more useful.
